This, in a very long-winded way, is me coming out publicly that I am trans, that I want to get onto HRT to eliminate the masculinity that I was born with that has caused me so much grief in the past. I am proud to admit that finally, and that is an entirely alien sensation for me.

With me admitting this, I take into great account the struggles of transgender people, my personal difficulties on the subject and in the same breath my highlighting of transgender mortality. This is my deepest bottom-of-the-heart bit I've ever written and its a personal honor to at least attempt to do it justice. This is my experience and people need to hear, if not for themselves then to help out friends or family that are going through this VERY difficult thing.
To those directly fighting the struggles of coming out or going through the process: you got this. I, a stranger, believe in you sincerely. Dont lose hope, dont lose sight of what and who you are.
