The other day I bought ArtRage, which is not an easy program to use (especially if you're more used to digital coloring then traditional materials) but it makes pictures that look like traditional media. So here's the first picture I colored with it.

Anyway, this is Jack. I first introduced him in this picture. If you haven't read the description over there here's a short recap. Jack is a half human half Nithrak hybrid. He was created as a counter spying measure after a Proteus was caught spying on the humans. But Jack escaped the lab he was created in and ran out into the wild. He met the other Nithraks but they attacked him for being half human. He was found by another of my characters, named Michael, who found Jack a place to live with some people who don't mind that he's a scary freak. So now Jack seeks acceptance, while at the same time being a moody jerk.
