I really like your use of enjambment here, the touch in the poem is very real, makes me smile :}

The beauty of poetic license!

Looking closely you will find the use of enjambment to some degree in all my poetry. Sometimes it’s good to be able to create one of the worlds longest run on sentences... ;)

Seriously, it’s more a way I feel I can keep continuity of thought as the poem progresses. Sorta' keeps my mind heading in one direction. I know it can be used and misused however it seems to be part of my style. I hope it fits as you encounter it!
