Reference sheet I commissioned some years ago from  Scarlet_Spectrum for my only character, Yaretzi. Yeah, sure, I've made other characters for roleplay scenarios or whatever, but I consider her to be the only one who's really mine. The character herself is almost ten years old (next year babyyyyyyy), and I've had refs before this. Aside from a few tweaks here and there along the way, the basic design stayed more or less the same: Eastern-like body, sharp facial features, two wings, and feathers for hair. The double wings might seem extra, but they weren't just thrown in there to be KEWL. I wanted to emphasize that she was a weak flyer, more of a ground dweller, and so I gave her two smaller sets of wings inside of one big set like a lot of dragons have.

Her character is kind of universal and isn't tied to a particular setting/verse/world. She's just a dragon who works as a librarian. Kind of an egotistical type, but not in a malicious way; she's just awkward and has trouble understanding why someone else wouldn't see her as the smartest person in any given room. No powers (doesn't even breathe fire), no special lore; she's just mundane, and I like that. I like focusing more on character interaction rather than background or world-building in my writing, and I think having a more "normal" character makes it easier to do that.
