I just had a random concept of a Soaring creature based off a Kitsune and modeled to look like Kurama the Nine tailed Fox from Naruto. The hindmost legs of this creature have a dark webbing which stretches between their digits and tails making a large Fan-like display which they might use to attract a mate or intimidate larger animals!
Perhaps they may even have the ability to project illusions from the spots on their tails in order to stun and confuse Predators or prey.
These creatures are not native to Laramidia but may have been brought over with the Valkirtani.
