Blimpy and Happy Fygar

Probably the last Fygar pic I’ll be doing for a while, at least based off of his in-game sprite, and the best one I’ve done so far! I’m really into the unique shape and background view I made for this one, and I saw this type of inflation shape done by a few artists but I never tried it myself until now, and perhaps I might try it for future inflation art if I feel like it. Fygar was originally going to have dizzy eyes here, but I’m not good at drawing dizzy eyes that much so I gave him some closed and happy eyes instead. I feel like the way I made him face forward looks weird in terms of the head shape, but aside from that I feel like it still looks really good. And yeah, I still kept the detail of having spikes on Fygar’s tail like how it was in his title screen/official art design. To be honest, the way his hands hold out makes him look like he wants a hug, which was a nice detail even if it was unintentional somewhat.
