Moving right along and making good progress!
The head has a neck now and the face has been trimmed. And here's a sneak peek of the wings and tail too! You guys should see those wings in action,
jakejynx did a great job on them. :D
Tomorrow, everything will be airbrushed and finished and pictures and video will be taken to show how the wings move and how well the eyes work. He'll be posted up for auction tomorrow evening, so stay tuned!

Oh wow, really? I had no idea that they couldn't move their eyes in the sockets! I suppose that makes sense now why they turn their heads so much and have such a creepy stare, lol.
When I was researching owls before I started this project, I came across this video that inspired me to make him with 3D/following-eyes. Here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyNYj7TAASE&feature=fvsr
Technically, my head is pretty accurate then since the pupils never move on the head, but as the head turns, it looks like he's still looking at you, just like in that video. That's kind of a cool boo-boo, I suppose. XD
