The story picks up a little later. Mr Gato-Negro returns from the Jumpin' Bean, thanks to a ride from a friend (LLindi Llama). Pintor looks busy weeding. After a loaded exchange, she steps over to Beartram's house for chin wag.

In panel 2, Mr Gato-Negro say--roughly (it's a been a while since I translated this): "I thought you'd have done MORE." Pintor replies, "Heh... it's... a... tough job."
