Klonoa gets lost in a swamp of sorts and accidentally stumbles upon a gooey quicksand pit, keep her arms above the mud as she cautiously tries to get herself out. To her dismay, she eventually sinks belly-deep, with her struggling having resulted in loosening the mud just enough for it to quickly suck up the curvy cabbit. She gently wiggles & shimmies her waist in the mud to lessen the mud's grip, but to no avail...
"Oh, dear... Why me, of all people..."
A stranger, having heard her grunts & whimpers, shows up out of nowhere in front of her.
"Oh! Mister! Thank goodness you're here! I got myself stuck in some mud... Would you be able to assist me out? Please?"
