Original description: A quick little sketch I did for Newgrounds. I realised that there's unfortunately not any drawings of him on Newgrounds so I set out to sort that out.


There's actually a funny story that this image reminds me of. It took place in mid 2023 and basically Games Workshop had REALLY screwed up around this time, to the point that I was no longer EVER going to support them financially again and even cancelled my White Dwarf subscription for all time. I talk about it more under my "Warhammer has fallen" and my "Warhammer continues to die" posts on my Newgrounds news page, but basically the loss of the Warhammer hobby due to me quitting for good reason caused me to do sticker slapping, a form of graffiti, instead.

One of the stickers I made was of Needle Man, and I maybe put it too out there in public and my parents found out about it. Needless to say, my Mum was NOT happy. I took down the stickers I did due to her telling me to do so and while it was a funny story it made me briefly hate Warhammer MORE than Sonic the Hedgehog (You know, that one series with the immoral characters, toxic fans, greedy requesters, etc.) for a few weeks back then. Yeah that moment in 2023 when Games Workshop betrayed their own customer base harder than ever was not good for me. I love the black blur effects on the spikes though.
