We were nearly complete with the quest we received from the Guildmaster's second-in-command. But the pond just by the goal is home to a shockingly dangerous Feral monster.... With it getting territorial, there's no way our guild can come and collect what we've found! We'll have to repel the leviathan!

Hi everyone ^vv^/
A couple of weeks ago I said I would be moving onto the deployment sceen- it's still happening I swear! lol, I spent this week and last doing map art, lots of fixing stuff, and finishing up... I thiiiiink everything to do with team cards (I know it's been taking me a while, but it's really complicated stuff ok xvvx;) Now, a placeholder npc has a menu that not only lets you add the cards of your fellow players, but lets you check out their details (like genes, skills, etc), delete the cards, and even favorite them so they appear at the start of the list! I figured this stuff is... kinda mandatory for the feature >vv< and though some of you might be thinking you'll never use it, this stuff is a great baseline for future content-- I needed the codes and stuff anyway for setting up rescuing later! (Rescuing is planned to be in chapter 3, but we'll talk about it later!) Plus, in theory, if you wanted to start over but keep your old team in the back of you mind, I guess you could save the other team's code and bring it in as a team card in the new save lol >vv<
Now that it's all sorted out and it's not breaking every 2 seconds, I can finally implement my almost complete map into the game and work on the deployment screen! It should work something along the lines of letting you select a location on the map... then open a screen where you can change out who's on your team- this will use your own recruited monsters BUT it can also let you use some default Burrow NPCs (like Team Courage) as well as those team cards I was just talking about- so you can bring along your friends' mons! (Burrow NPCs and friends' card mons are always set to your player monster's level- and in the case of the card monsters, those cannot earn new skills over time or anything- their skills and genes are locked from when you last saved/overrode their card). If you selected a locale with a quest you have active, it might force you to take certain teams or blacklist taking recruited monsters/card monsters, and stuff like that- so I think this'll work great! For now, you won't be able to take off your player+partner monsters from your team, but that should be possible later on! ^vv^
Side note, if you're one of the... tons of people that opened up the Team menu in order to find the skills/moves screen for a specific monster, that is now implemented! lol >vv<
I really wanna show off all that stuff soon, so once I get the deployment screen in a decent state, I'll make a video showing all of it off and I'll be sure to link to it ^vv^

In the rp, this was easily my most unbalanced boss fight- the action economy was terrible and it hit like a truck <vv> bubbles and thunder don't help either... I felt bad putting my bf through it... but HOPEFULLY it'll be way more fair in the game! lol >vv<
