It wasn't just any day out at sea, and ghost pirates weren't exactly D4VY's most favorable opponent; the undead have nothing to lose. He'd made his way on board, but found nothing to greet his uninvited presence. He hears a grating roll of heavy wheels on the wooden planks, and turned with a startled whip of his head. The last thing he saw, was the gleaming green eyes of the captain, a sparkling fuse.. and the hollow bore of a very large cannon.Everything went dark. His subconscious knew he'd taken a direct hit, his head snapping back and body propelled with it from the impact, sending him past the bowsprit and into the dark waters below. His body lands with a splash, his heavy frame sinking, as his mind grew ever-more-cloudy...But this wasn't the end of him, no- something began to tear at his thoughts, his waning willpower, his very soul. Something darker than the very depths beneath him. Many moons past, the seafaring protogen had stumbled upon something he was not supposed to; a treasure, one meant to be long forgotten. The sea churns with the fury rising beneath it's surface, four enormous eyes rising up beneath those who'd committed such harm upon the captain. As the waters part and the sky cracks with lightning, the titanic form of a lovecraftian leviathan is revealed. 4VYSSALIOS, The Abyssal One, had emerged.This.. took way too long to make. You know what took longer? The ANIMATIC for him, which you can watch here! https://x.com/D4VYsLocker/status/1854008462549671985__________________________________________________________________________________D4VY Design © DigitalDivingDrawn with Krita on a Wacom One tablet.

This looks amazing and the animatic was beautifully cinematic! Especially the animatic though, really sets the mood for everything perfectly. I'd say more if I was an artist and knew the proper terminology other than just saying it looks great and is next level stuff cause the whole thing is awesome.
I'd love to see more of this Lovecraftian form of yours <3

Thank you thank you!
I'm glad it turned out so well, it was really a struggle and I learned a lot about animatics and my computer's limitations xD
Perhaps sometime! I don't know how MUCH though, because they're very complex to draw and.. I'd hate to think about the price of commissioning him.
