I'm like what you described in your rant the only difference is I'am right and if I'm not I would say sorry to the person I was arguing with. The only way it would end a friendship is if they're friends with someone who is either the same or dumb. For example Friend 1: "Did you know the moon has negative gravity?" Friend 2: "No, the moon has one fourth the gravity of the Earth not negative" Friend 1: "Then why did the astronautics need jet packs?" Friend 2 "Your stupid". Or if they're both know-it-all's it would go on until one of them gives up. Just a side note the little conversation actually happened to me.
