A German Polka to "Sieben" From Subway to Sally :>
To explain myself and how this got done:
First of all, back in the day, i had some friends which were into some heavy musics. I mean, i also like such kind of music from time to time and, if youre in the mood you know what im talking about.
So back in the day we had a german song from the band "Subway to Sally" with "Sieben"

As you can hear, its a pretty "dark" song (if you know german)... aaaaaaaat least if you only listen to the music itself.
The lyric in the other hand...
Basically, already like 10, 15 years ago, i said to my old friends something like
"You know, the lyrics can be really used to make a polka to dance to"
Reminding myself T O D A Y that "AI" exists and "SUNO" is a thing, i put the lyrics in, changed the type to Classic German Polka and volla~
Suck it, my old friends! X´D

Love a bit of a StS, Sieben is an amazing song! Makes sense it translates to the polka vibe when you think how much of their instrumentation comes from folk sounds anyway! Cute little play with Suno, I'm surprised it didn't tell you off for using lyrics from a commercial song - I thought they were supposed to detect that, perhaps it's only the music it checks!
again, it sure was just for fun and i sure dont wanna fall into the "AI USER" thing now but for some literal "bullshit fun" its nice to use, not to, well, advertise myself or something - and again, doing something like that just for the shits n giggles XD but yea, it turned out (after some tries) pretty well hahahaha ^^
I find the AI stuff interesting, I've fed some of my old unfinished ideas into Suno before and whilst 99% of what it's producing makes me cringe it is still making me rethink about stuff I'd otherwise have left to rot for years. I got talking to a producer for TV and Game soundtracks the other month who said he's quite happy using AI for generating reference tracks and the like - in his eyes it's a tool to use, and if his competitors don't want to take advantage of it then it helps him get ahead even more. Mixed feelings on it in that respect, but I do generally feel less worried about "omg it's going to take everyone's jobs and kill creativity" these days.
I do lean on GPT and Gemini for automating grunt work when I'm coding now in my day job, it frees up a lot of time to do the fun kinds of coding instead :3
But yes, sometimes it's fun to just make silly cover versions of songs and not read too deeply into them! Doesn't matter if it's AI or you made it all yourself, if you had fun doing it and it makes you / someone else smile then that's good enough!
