So yeah, here’s one of my demon slur ocs. He’s inspired off of the Tofu-Kozō, a yokai from Japanese folklore since KNY is based easily on it. Tofu-Kozō is a shy yokai taking the form of a young boy carrying aorund a plate of tofu with a maple leaf stamp on it an is often bullied by other yokai for its weakness. Makoto, like the yokai he’s based on, Makoto is very shy and is bullied by other demons for being a total softie and for displaying empathy towards humans. I might’ve kinda deviated from Tofu-Kozō’s traditional depictions, but I kinda wanna add my own flare into my demons’ designs instead having them be just be normal humans with horns slapped onto them. Plus, there are a diverse plethora of tofu-kozō’s varying depictions. I even found a modern restoration of one of this yokai’s depictions, where the modern version made it so the yokai had dog legs and a tail, hence the little feet paws and tail. The tofu that the yokai carries is poisonous and can cause a deadly mold to grow in you if you eat it, hence the reason for Makoto being covered in mold generated by his blood art. He may look scary but he’s super shy and has crippling anxiety due to living in the same area as Daki and Gyutaro as well as being threatened by slayers and demons alike.
