relaxingdragon1 was nice enough to have a birthday back in 2014 and I thought it appropriate to toss something in his direction.I may have done a better job then than last month! however, I appear also to have drawn an awful creature known as "nemitz" into this background, which utterly disqualifies the piece. But sometimes that's just how things are! The world is a treacherous place!
Especially da worlda tin tin. (an' me! wuf!)

Thank you! However I could only imitate a panel I already saw! There are plenty of native French speakers who have mastered tintin imitation in greater depth and with actual ink who would be better choices than me, but fortunately prior to his death the creator and primary author Herge stipulated that the series not be continued without him so I am not missing out on anything there.
I cannot take credit for the joke either since it accompanied my 2014 uploads as well! Though that may have occurred during the period when I was between accounts so I do not think one ever got here before now.

I do not see how it would benefit them to do so nor can i guess how such a product would possibly have merit if it was merely re-enacting existing stories with mildly altered character designs, and I also do not expect the foundation or casterman or whoever owns what would authorize any new stories. It would potentially be easier (legally) and more interesting to create an original work merely inspired by Tintin.
(Jokes aside, this is exactly what Fifine by Henbe was, you two might want to read it if you haven't already! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1084920/
I know somebody going by the name
Henbe made a tintin-pastiche looking comic strip about a character called "Fifine" years ago but I do not know how far it went or if it was any good. I remember finding the vulgarity level of the Captain Haddock stand-in distracting and its apparent desire to be an imitation somewhat limiting.

Fifine ended about 2012, I think. There was a grand finale where all the mysteries were solved (arguably based on The Cigars of the Pharaoh), and then a sort of epilogue (arguably based on The Castafiore Emerald)
I would say it's good, but then agan, I did kind of read the whole thing in one sitting

It might be more accurate than the newer drawing since I [probably] used a mouse for this one, which means the line weight would be uniform, which is one of the tenets of the "ligne claire" technique used for drawing Tintin comics. For the other picture I used my tablet pen, which really needed a replacement nib and some fiddling with the pressure settings, neither of which occurred until after I was finished with it!
