A survivor of a surprise attack by a predator awakens to find his body bruised and incomplete. Protecting the House of Cheetahka has cost this Cheetarin much and he'd do it again for his friends and family of House Cheetahka. The scars on his body are nothing, however, to the scars on his soul. To be whole again, his wish. He awaits for the day the House reaches one of the Sacred Beast Cities. There they will regenerate his limbs anew. Till then he must Learn to Love and accept himself anew.
This is a Gift Art I'm dedicating to
Strype because of his character having Prosthetic limbs. It reminded me of an ad I'd seen in a magazine that had a beautiful lady wearing an elegant black dress in a stunning pose where the prosthetic arm was the main focus. It wasn't disguised to look like human flesh but was a beautifully designed arm none the less. To me the ad had a "just be yourself, beautiful" feel to it. I'd seen a piece or two of Strype's that he'd done something similar to that. So it inspired me and I did this for him.
I'm really proud of this piece. This is my strongest drawing I've yet to post and feel really good about it. I'd only wish I'd finished it sooner. : )

A fellow artist helped me realign one of legs as well as with the design for the prosthetic limbs. Let us give a big round of applause to the great and wonderful:

I would also like to give a great big thank you to tasteslikeanya on DA who without her tutorial this most Uber shading I've ever done would not have happened. http://tasteslikeanya.deviantart.co.....Long-204839464

The really nifty thing about this piece is the shading is all on one layer in Photoshop. The interesting thing about that is I did it following the instructions to this tutorial and I basically used one color to shade it all. The Technique this artist shows you does most of the work for you. All you basically have to do is imagine the light source and how it hits the body. I'm getting there which really excites me, as this has been my first good breakthrough in a while.
