One of Cerina's favorite Mexican holidays is Day of the Dead, she would spend it with her grandparents who are Mexican immigrants and they encouraged her artistic endeavors when she was growing up and would decorate alters and the sugar skulls with her grandmother, so it's a day that means a lot to her. And since her transformation she doesn't need to paint her face, she can just shift her colors about and make it look like she painted herself
