"Please, you can't go, I don't want you to!" Not again. This time I tried so hard to save you.
She only ever looked at me with that stupid smile of hers, telling me that everything was going to be alright. Liar. "You promised, you promised you... How did things end up like this?" I'd ask her, tears dripping down onto my cheeks, and yet, even as the light was slowly fading from her eyes, she wasn't worried about herself, only wanting to keep me from my pain.
