I apologize for a lack of new Halloween themed content for Patreon this year but I think I have a fair amount of content to consider for next year. >w> I’ll see if changing some of my schedule will make me more able to do holiday/festive art in the future!

A new YCH project to open sometime soon
Letting you all know that I have a collab YCH animation project I hope to start offering to the public soon. For it, I do the drawing and Alef does the animating. If you loved Alef’s Bwoomph animation YCH, you may like this paw focused one based on my static “Towering Toes” YCH.

3D modeling proceeding nicely

Work on the Thundelle model is going well. I have the physical nude figure built and am moving on to texturing. After that will be rigging and weight painting. At that point it should be pretty close to consider importing to Pawperty Damage. Very exciting stuff! Hopefully that can happen in November or December. >w>

The new laptop has done wonders for the modeling process. I can’t imagine doing what I’ve done in 3D without it.

Laptop art & possibly gaming streams

I’ve done a few art streams now from my new laptop. It’s a little clumsy working with only one monitor but I’ve made it work.

It will also be possible to stream games easily from it. I’m considering starting a new playthrough of Vintage Story to show people the game that I’ve sunk a lot of my minimal free time into. My personal world is about 70 hours now over a few months and there is still a lot to do.

Vintage Story is a tough game with a really hard early game, but perhaps streaming it for people will make it more bearable. >w>

More money troubles

It’s become a meme to my life that roughly every two months, there is some major expense that hits me. But being that I save most of my money instead of spending it, I have funds on hand to handle a lot of it. It’s just also why I tend for have a frustrated life of living without things so many others take for granted.

Probably the most notable cost will be a front incisor tooth is finally failing on me and I have to get it removed and replaced with something. This will amount to $1,000 for a temporary fix that I’m not happy with. But I have to go through it so my mouth can heal for a more permanent solution that will cost $4,000 to have done must later. That’s way more than I can really handle.

Also what was going to be a fairly minor plumbing repair at my building has turned into a major project. One of the toilet drain lines isn’t draining properly and needs to be cleared out. But because the building is so old, it wasn’t built up to code to handle this and will require the line dug up and a proper to code access point installed. The only good thing about this is that its expected to be in a back parking lot which I already intend to have redone eventually. So good to handle this now before I make such a repair. Overall, this expense is expected to be several thousand.

I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but the building roof started leaking again and I had to get that repaired again not even a year after the original repair. I have not seen the bill for that yet, but I doubt it will be under $1,000.

Finally, the house siding people at last showed up to do the work on our house nearly 4 months after we signed the agreement to have the work done. This will be around $7,000. Thankfully I already had this money saved up and set aside. But it does concern me for handling the above expenses.

Other building work

Other stuff happening at the building include hiring an auction service to sell much of the unused stuff my mom has in her bookstore so I can make room for renovating for the attorney. I’m really, really hoping I can get this work done by summer of next year and get more in rent.

Once the renovation work is done, I should finally be able to give a sigh of relief and start focusing my money on debt payoff.

When I get my debt paid off, I can legitimately quit my newspaper job with little consequences (my boss cosigned on the building mortgage) and get two days per week back in my life that I’ve lost for over 10 years now.
