I will stab myself in the thumb with a needle until it stops hurting, that's how I did drawing, I just kept making and erasing marks until my eyes stopped hurting.
Needless to say, my eyes are still in pain.

Don't worry, I draw worse than you. And I gotta warn you, hand sewing to this day leaves holes in my fingers. Hand sewing will hurt even seasoned stitchers.

Don't you look dapper. I love boater hats to the extreme especially the outfits showboating and being a barker to barbershop. How did you replace the grain ribbon on the hat?

It's not at all difficult, most are held on by only a few small stitches on one long thread, you pick it out, then use it to measure the new ribbon. Just be sure when making the bow that you iron the whole thing flat after you get the right shape, unless you'd like a less traditional bow more common on hats made for women
