The first picture for you guys to see from the Yosemite trip
athus and I just returned from today.
This shot was puuuuuuure luck. We hiked up to the top of Vernal Falls, where a bunch of stellers jays and squirrels were looking for handouts. The squirrels were easy to photograph; all fat and lazy. The jays were a PAIN though as they just NEVER sat still. Even with Athus ignoring all the "DON'T FEED THE ANIMALS!" signs, they wouldn't cooperate. Athus wasted a lot of our trail mix XD Athus is a bad influence, lol.
I was looking to shoot some people who were hiking up the mist drenched trail when one landed RIGHT in front of my camera right on the ledge with perfect composition. Not being one to pass up a golden opportunity, I took the shot. Even at 100% this shot is tack sharp.
What I did: just color corrections. This shot came out as perfect as humanly possible.
