Fun Fact: the 2nd panel contains some old ocs, plus cameo from 2 of the Dumbo Crows, albeit the short one is a combination of the Fat and Shortie Crow from the group.
As for the OCs in question these are the two couples seeing in the 2nd panel:
1) the Background Couple are Gayle Caribou and Dara Reddeer: they were part of the same Silverwolf stories from which Mary, Gunnar and Calais sprung from. Dara in that story line, was a rich girl that worked in Ferl's Cafeteria (a picture I shown before, with Mary and Calais part of it) but also kept an eye on the local Communications Station for the Singar region and had a romantic relation with a local Wood chopper named Gayle. The two kept their relation a secret from her mother, who would not had been tolerant of a girl of high society having a relation from behind her back with a local, so to stick around, Gayle would disguise himself as her man servant when Mrs. Reddeer would show up for a visit.
For a time I've wanting to add them in some capacity in the Cats stories, at least as background characters from time to time.

2) the Second Couple in the Ice Cream kiosk, which some of you may still remember, are Lance Bertram and Scarlet Furman, who were part of the Furrytales strips from the early days.
