A few fun facts about Ani:

- The sigils on his stomach and hands are actually a metallic alloy forged directly into his body. Known colloquially on Earth as "celestial gold", when treated and forged into the body, it takes on a soft, flexible form that augments healing abilities, particularly those of Restoration and Protection magic. The process that bound this metal to Ani's body also augmented their lifespan to a limitless degree, as they cannot age nor grow sick of any known pathogens or toxins. As such, nobody except Ani and a handful of cherished lovers and friends have ever known his exact age, but scholars and history buffs tend to see a common minor figure appearing throughout the centuries and millennia, all under different names, locations, and appearances.

- Ani is a former noble heir of House d'Esprimenti, who gave up his claim to his family's land and titles in order to take a vow to the Order of the Northern Sun, a pan-religious order based primarily in the Northern territories well beyond his home.

- While Ani is largely made for fantasy settings, due to their immortality trait, I also have him set in modern or futuristic/sci-fi settings as well.
