There's one thing that Khaevis and Alexstrasza have in common - they both lost their children to killers.
However, while Khaevis keeps killing innocent people and animals, Alexstrasza only wants to kill 1 - Nekros!
Wonder if this is how she ate him. Demanding him to face her like man or just run away and Alexstrasza doing it the hard way.
Probably the latter, but whatever. Dragonqueen got her revenge the best way possible! If only Khaevis did the same thing from the start instead of punishing innocents. But I guess every broken dragon mommy would do it the different way. Since Alexstrasza protects life, taking one bad is not that horrible. Especially when she's fed at the same time!
Also, Happy Halloween and don't get scared by Life-Binder! She wouldn't hurt YOU! ;)

I like to think that since Arch also cherishes and protects life, Alexstrasza would find him nice company. He is not a dragon nor is one of the great Primal Aspects... to face a bean like Alexstrasza, he would have the upmost respect.
All I can imagine is this. When she got her jaws around Nekros and sent him to his extremely well deserved fate in her furnace, she experienced something like vindication. The things he did to her are the stuff of nightmares, and if you actually piss off the life-protector to such an extent she subjects you to slow death in her insides? You REALLY earned it.
My treatment of the mighty dragon queen would be far, far kinder.
