Level 3: Junkyard
Don't ask about the title. The background was inspired by a third level in a game that happened to take place in a junkyard. Let's uh, pretend they are about to defeat a boss or something. Yeah, that works.
ANYWAY, this is a long over-due commission for strype featuring cooper. My directions were as followed: "Something badass and couple-ish and... oh, Cooper wants a 'sharky grin'".
I HOPE I DELIVERED.
This was actually just supposed to be two colored waist-up sketches so... I hope this makes up for the wait? I wanted to do something good for them, they were awesome to shoot the breeze with last AC.

I like challenge too. I just have to basically OBSESS over anything difficult, until I feel I can play it competently.
But uh, when I'm around a guy who's about three million times better at video games than I am (for the most part, anyway) PRIDE ISSUES ARISE when I suck at something he can beat without batting an eyelash.

I really love the coloring and the back ground on this. It's quite lovely! I really love the sky in this, because of the blending of oranges and yellows, it's fantastic. Every time I try something like that it doesn't turn out so well.
And as for Contra...I love them. Even tough they crush your soul like a ant tries to crush the human race. I play Super C (Contra two) and I suck at that as well, I mean hell my DAD can beat the game in one sitting and I can't get past level 3.
