"The fireplace merrily cracked with sparks from the magic stones that Abel had carefully laid out in a signature that created and sustained the fire. He liked how the gleams danced thoughout the room and it seemed that all the objects had come to life. Especially the fireplace in the form of an owl - it was now squinting slyly as if trying to tell Father Johan that Abel had again set all his alchemy ingredients free which had been sitting in cages, awaiting the sad fate of becoming potions.
