Time and experience can change certain aspects of a person and can broaden their perspective and knowledge. Given how much Ingrid has gone through (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/32753409/ ), she has experienced much throughout her life; from a harsh school life with peers who refused to understand her, people fearing her because of her aggression, to literal death! However, while negative experiences can shape someone’s character, positive ones can cause just as great of an impact.

Due to her knack and passion for the horror genre, Ingrid likes to get up to date on new media and events so she can indulge as soon as possible. However, in this instance, speed was not on Ingrid’s side and her promptness was beaten out by a few fortunate others.

Overhearing about a sequel to one of favorite old school horror movies, Ingrid waited eagerly for a release date, ignoring all trailers in the meantime as to savor the experience. Unfortunately, due to Ingrid’s tactic, she would later discover the release…only for the movie to be sold out upon inquiring. Not willing to accept that the movie was sold out, Ingrid paid her local theater a visit to see if there was a way to see the movie, only to be told that there wasn’t any way to get another ticket for at least a couple weeks. Hearing such news, Ingrid left home, seething that she wouldn’t be able to enjoy the movie she had her heart set on seeing since it was announced. However, unbeknownst to Ingrid, her anger would be answered, not with more anger, but with kindness.

A couple days later, Ingrid received a knock on her door early in the morning. Although not expecting anyone, Ingrid opened the door to see a somewhat nervous looking tiger waiting for her. Eyebrow raised, Ingrid questioned what the tiger wanted, her tone somewhat annoyed due to her lingering frustration. Introducing himself as Alex, the tiger stated how he saw Ingrid days prior and witnessed her frustration at not being able to get a ticket to the new horror movie. Quickly plucking something from his pocket, Alex presented Ingrid with two slips of paper, asking Ingrid if she would like to go with him to the movie as he had two tickets. Taking a closer look at the tickets, Ingrid noticed that the tickets weren’t the standard ones, but they seemed somewhat special. Skeptical, Ingrid asked Alex what the catch was, only for the tiger to say he just wanted to do something nice. Sensing no ill will, Ingrid agreed to go to the movies with Alex; but curiously asked why the tickets seemed so special. Smiling, Alex told Ingrid that the tickets were for a preview screening of the movie. Hearing this, Ingrid expressed a surge of excitement as she cheered for such an opportunity; being able to see a highly anticipated horror movie before most other people. Seeing Ingrid’s glee, Alex chuckled softly to himself as he gave Ingrid the date of the screening; which further surprised the mouse as it was only a couple days away even if the movie’s public premiere was 2 weeks away. Expressing her excitement, Ingrid stated how she couldn’t wait to see the movie, with Alex in full agreement.

Several days later, Ingrid found herself standing with Alex in front of the movie theater, ready to see the new horror before anyone else! After a brief trip to the concession stand, Ingrid and Alex sat in front of the silver screen and watched as spatters of red and horrifying screams filled the empty theater room. Although Ingrid openly expressed her excitement at the gore and frights on screen, Alex was unnerved by the carnage happening right before his eyes; yet his uneasiness was somewhat dulled by Ingrid’s happiness. 2 and a half hours of gore and horror and both Ingrid and Alex had finished the movie, with the former gushing about how much she enjoyed. Walking Ingrid back to her apartment, Alex expressed his surprise at how the movie went but went on to say how he hoped Ingrid enjoyed herself. Still gushing over the movie and how happy she was to see it, Ingrid thanked Alex for helping her experience a movie she couldn’t see. Seeing Alex extend his hand to shake hers, Ingrid extended her own, but a brief moment of thought caused her to rethink her decision. So excited and thankful she was for someone to display such happiness, both Ingrid’s extended hand jolted forward along with her other hand to bring Alex into an impromptu kiss punctuated. Somewhat taken aback by such an action, both Ingrid and Alex shared a nervous laugh before the former nervously asked if the latter would like to come inside for a cup of coffee. Picking Ingrid up and carrying her, Alex chuckled and said he would love some coffee. The punctuation to a wonderful and frightful knight, Ingrid couldn’t help but smile at how everything turned out.

Although initially discouraged by what she considered a great setback, Ingrid was later rewarded by not only being able to see the film she desired but was able to spend time with someone who managed to expend a great deal of benevolence towards her.
