Snooky Wookums from Krypto the Superdog got a wedgie!
''On a chilly Halloween night, Snooky Wookums was riding high on a sugar rush, his basket stuffed with candy. Dressed as a ghost, he floated down the dimly lit street, laughing with friends after a successful night of trick-or-treating. The streets echoed with laughter and the occasional scream from nearby haunted houses.
As he turned the corner to his street, he spotted his best friend, Jake, waiting by the big oak tree. "Hey, Snooky You won’t believe what I got!" Jake shouted, holding up a giant chocolate bar. Snooky grinned, his mouth watering, and jogged over to him.
Just then, a group of older kids appeared, their costumes dark and menacing. They eyed Snooky x and Jake with mischief in their eyes. Before Snooky could react, one of them lunged forward, yanking his ghostly sheet upwards. Snooky felt the fabric tug at his waist as he was hoisted into the air, his face turning beet red. The laughter of the older kids echoed around him as they ran off, leaving him dangling from the low branch of the oak tree, wedgied and embarrassed.
“Snooky!” Jake shouted, trying to suppress his laughter. “Hang tight! I’ll get you down!” He dashed over, determination in his eyes. Snooky swayed in the cool autumn breeze, desperately wishing for a superhero to swoop in and save him.
Jake scurried up the tree, climbing with a mix of bravery and caution. “Why do they always pick on you?” he asked, trying to focus. “You’re like a Halloween magnet!”
“Just get me down!” Snooky replied, trying to sound tough despite his situation.
“Hang tight! I’ll get my bike!” Jake called, racing off. Minutes dragged by as Snooky dangled, feeling ridiculous. Finally, Jake returned with his bike, positioning it under the tree. “Okay, grab the handlebars!”
“Next time, maybe don’t wear such a flimsy costume?” Jake teased, extending a hand to help Snooky up.
Snooky couldn’t help but laugh, shaking off the humiliation. “Yeah, yeah, very funny. But thanks for rescuing me, superhero.”
