For this years Halloween piece, I made Link into a Chuchu (specifically the ones from Breath of the Wild).
The idea for this piece came to me after the realization that Link kills a TON of these gooey critters in every game. In Breath of the Wild the Chuchus are basically animals and only really seem to attack you because you might just be food, and not some hero that needs to be stopped. So I figured; what if Link was transformed into one for his crime against their species. Maybe he comes to learn that they're not working for Ganon, and are instead innocent creatures just trying to get by each day. I was trying to aiming for the "people who play music near a group of cows" feel with this. I also used my new shading technique for this and I think it came out way better than just flat colors for the slime.
