Closing the gap quickly, the bull braced himself and the dirt that was on his body shifted off his shoulders and head and slid down to his hands, clumping together and forming sandy, pebble-like gauntlets. The coyote just raised his crowbar and adjusted his stance; he was keeping sure his crowbar was between himself and the two flaming wolves. As the two were running closer, Loretta then charged at full speed. The coyote tried to swing his crowbar at her, but she blocked it with her metal bracer. Then she, in turn, lunged for him with an open hand, the coyote had to step away and dodge just to make sure she didn't touch him. The bull could have stepped over to help against this soldier, but his eyes were on the other wolf that she came with. He didn't seem much like a threat at first, Artison's attack swung wide and precisely choreographed. The bull just stepped out of the way and punched him in turn. His right arm was holding Mira still, so the evasion and use of his offhand didn't make the most effective punch back.
Loretta lunged for this coyote again and again, hands trying to both fake this coyote out and grab a hold of anything. The coyote kept his distance though, and swatted a few times as she tried to advance on him. Then, Loretta lunged just a bit too far and this coyote sidestepped; He took that opportunity and struck Loretta in the back. Loretta growled and hissed at the pain, but she didn't slow down. She ran for him again and the coyote swung at her while she charged. Loretta winced from the impact, but this was where she wanted him. She reached out just far enough to get around the main end of the crowbar and grab the shaft. She didn't let go and neither did coyote for a while. As the two held on, the crowbar started to glow red hot around Loretta's hand. Soon the coyote couldn't hold on, it burned, scorching his flesh and he let go. He tried to run again. Loretta kept the crowbar between her hands and ran after the coyote, this time he didn't get away. Loretta tackled this coyote to the ground and got on top of him. He screamed in agony, fur getting singed from her body heat, and she just kept to what she was supposed to. She forced his hands behind his back and bent the glowing hot crowbar around his wrists like a pair of makeshift handcuffs. By the time she got off, the man was fading in and out of consciousness from the burns and agony.
I'm gonna set alarms on my phone to make sure I don't forget to post this story, It's my favorite of the current two, and it's been happening FAR too often.
