for the 29th day of Monster month I decided to draw Pombomb from Cassette Beasts, yet another game I know next to nothing about, but unlike the others I'm actually interested in playing it at some point. So, in Cassette Beasts you play as a girl that washes up on a mysterious island, and on your quest to find your way back home you must battle against these strange beasts using a cassette player to turn into them. between the various forms the beasts can be upgraded into, the mechanic where you can fuse with your partner into a stronger beast, and the fact that this game has an equivalent to shiny pokemon in the form of "Bootlegs" which actually give the beasts new types to work with, this game certainly looks like it has a lot to offer. One of the companions you gain in the game is a little Pomeranian named Barkley, who can turn into the guy I drew- Pombomb, which makes him like two marketable characters in one.
