When she gets amorous (which is basically her default setting), he argues being nervous around her horns, particularly since she a snuggler. She solves that matter quickly enough...
For aesthetics, I'm just ignoring that she has a horn on her nose. If she capped it with a rubber ball, she'd look like a particularly creative clown....

A slide rule? Really? I saw one at a flea market this spring and told the vendor I was surprised to see it, since everyone used calculators now. He handed it to me and said, "You know how to use it?"
