had an idea for a crossover at work, so here are the sand siblings as khajiit
gaara already looks like a scruffy kitten, at least as a kid, and kankuro doesn’t even need any changes to pass as an ohmes
but it would be kinda boring to keep him the same (+ i like drawing animals maws), so he’s a pahmar now. temari is a cathay, and gaara is… a suthay- or a dagi-raht, idk. maybe in this au his problem would be that he was born under a very particular lunar alignment that made him suseptible to the dark moon… like, according to the wiki, those born under eclipse are eligible to become spiritual leaders, but also can hear “the dark heart” calling them, and can turn into evil spirits basically. pretty cool.
