Hey everyone!

This is a commission for NovemberDear, who asked me to draw her gorgeous Sona Haruka in the Beastars Manga Cover Style and create the cover with her! It's been a while since I did it yet I enjoyed every second of it!

I personally absolutely love when someone asks me to replicate the awesome and outstanding style of Paru Itagaki used in her Beastars Manga Covers, sothis Commission has been a blast to create! It's not always easy to make it work but I think this time it went well! What's most outstabding is the use of colours to create depth of character and objects. on top of it, there is no such thing as perfectionism with this style, it has to look a little unclean, a little rushed maybe even and it must have tiny flaws to give it this natural feel, which also comes with the use of material and tools to create the illustration. Whil it isn't the original way to create these pieces, I use fineliners and brushmarkers to acheive this style to then scan it in and edit it slightly digitally, adding the text and some post editing to call it a finished piece.

I must say I'm very happy with it and hope the commissioner as well as the viewer will also like it! Let me know what you think!
