Here is a more ambitious illustration I created featuring Kettle Whynyard! I am under the very strong opinion that Kettle is not the type of woman to adorn herself in lavish dresses and jewelry, but rather would wear a simple yet sophisticated suit.

I had a very fun time working on this illustration, and even if the illustration only features the floor, I believe it to be my best work drawing a house interior thus far!




While the perspective of this illustration came with its challenges, I would say the part that I had found to be the most complex was the patterns that decorated the rug and the sofa. I was also intending to have the wall drawn in such a manner, but I must admit I got a quarter of the way through the design I had planned before deciding that stripes would look the best. (-0l
