I first made my sona when I was 15. It always felt rather basic, but did represent important concepts to me at the time. So now at 30, it feels appropriate to finally update myself (from lots of tf science, magic, corruption, and exposure) with a variety of colors, features, markings, and influences that come from a large list of people and things important both currently and in the past of my life to this point. Some of these aren't necessarily positive anymore, but were key in getting me to where I am now. This is who I am, not just a character on the internet.

~A Full Account of the Details~
Many forms and details on this version of me are things found from other people's sonas. Either because our time together has been incredibly meaningful, or the raunchy TFs have just not quite fully gone away and got stuck there. There's plenty of overlap, and it's all meaningful to me. Every addition is firmly consented to after -lots- of discussion with their respective source.

PRIMARY / From previous design:
Being an arctic fox, the white and sapphire blue primary coloration, icy eye color, and basic form/markings/patterns are from me. I'm definitely a fox, being a bit of a loner and very stealthy, but also quite clever and loud when needed.
The outfits all represent my various interests from science fiction piloting/admiralty, to my real life job as a scientist, and my big obsession with ranger/druid aesthetics and play in fantasy.
The collar came from my second relationship, but first one I had conducted locally. It has long since ended, by I appreciate that time that let me understand who I was- and how I was blind to the bad in others.
Those glasses are ones I wear in reality, and I need them for everything.

Details that appeared over the years:

The teal tracings/lines and runes represent an inner magic powered by soul, mixed with ice, but unlocked by interactions with amazing people, without whom I would not have my own particular brand of being me. They glow when I cast magic, or use particular kinds of technology.
The golden "core", and the general spread of the lines, of that ability to cast is a reference to Lucis, light dragon and light in life.
The glowing marks on my thighs/hips are from Djharums / Pony, a dear friend and role model in the local community.
His husband Hawk, likewise in status, are where the swirly runes on my shoulders for the magic were inspired from.

My admiral/pilot outfit is designed mostly by DWC Marshall Arts, amazing artist and super smart friend, based on Stellaris games we've played and his own setting, The Percivals.
He also partly inspired the boundary between my white and blue fur at my elbows and knees, which use his primary color.
The patterning of that boundary comes from BigStinkyLion, a dear companion in my life, who also has those markings.

The mark on my right cheek (only) is a mirrored version of one found on Danny Dumal, a friend I've known since my first steps into furry.
He additionally cemented the choice for my footpaw pads to be black, to match his, and my tail never quite recovered from being him a little bit, and has his brown streak in it.
The anklet I wear on my left ankle is a gift from him, and is based on his colors.

I now have a single tuft of rainbow neon hair, a left over from a lot of shenanigans with Aven "Murs" Nines, one of my best friends that has had to be wrangled for many years, and one of few I can freely complain about Star Citizen nonsense to.
His deer spots on my collar bone area and hips/waist also never went away after a few too many encounters, and his purple bouness infected my handpaw pads a bit, turning them violet.

I have two cat "eyes" on the back of my ears, formed from a great deal of time spent with Nirra, whom I miss dearly.

There are white skunk lines that reach from my ear base to my tail, given to me by my most respected mentor and local friend, Tyco; con chair, saint, scion of positivity and happiness.

Between those lines from the end of my shoulderblades is a deep blue spine covering, courtesy of Vale / Alleywaydumpster, someone I have a lot of fun talking to for many years.

The darker blue dragon wings on my back are remnants of time spent as Raikon, another of my best friends, whom I have known for so long I can't remember not.

The ends of my hip deer spots have two yellow stars, a gift from Shiuk / Ben, a beacon of friendliness and fun in the local sphere, and always willing to lend an ear and advice.

My eye have darkened fur around them, the effect of hanging near Acheron too much, and being good buddies for many years around some visual novel shenanigans.

The chevron on my chest is a direct left-over from the sexy other blue fox, Braxton. He's been a delight in both hugs and teases.

The teal rings on my left arm and right leg from are from a most dear (and formerly deer) friend, Felicity. She was a stronghold of shared experiences, deeply passionate, and an amazing companion.

The patterning of how my white fur interacts with my chest boundary to the blue is stylized after AJ, a great friend and excitable ratty boi.

That similar boundary for my legs / crotch and the pattern there came from Vendryk, old friend from those same visual novel shenanigan days.

The lightning bolts on my footpaws come from the illustrious Fox Lightning, whom is also a great friend and long time shared TF enjoyer.

The silver marks at the end of my tail are from my very first girlfriend and still good friend, Kaylen, who happily shares any topic or conversation and is a large source of comfort.

The fantasy outfit is inspired both by own aesthetics and a similar outfit from World of Warcraft, though the shorts are modeled on Danny again (he likes shorts a lot).
