Taking a bit of a C-C-C-Combo Breaker from the Spooky Stuff to celebrate Killer Instinct's 30th Anniversary!

I went with Fulgore for this one since one of the few early character designs for the game was a robot with a ponytail, who would inevitably be the Fulgore we know today. Not to mention he was featured on the box art of the SNES package, not to mention the SNES cartridge was black instead of the common grey color for most games at the time.

Did You Know...

It's rumored that the character Cinder was inspired by the T-1000 effects of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. If so, this would be a huge coincidence, since Robert Patrick (who played the T-1000) was in the movie "Behind Enemy Lines" which was originally titled "Killer Instinct"

Sabrewulf was named after Rare's first game on the ZX Spectrum, when the company was called "Ultimate Play The Game". The game would later be re-released on the Gameboy Advance.

Spinal is based off of the skeleton warriors from Harry Hausen's "Jason and the Argonauts", his ending even has a reference to the character pursuing a movie career.
