He's fine. Look at the bullet hole on the wall, right at the same height as Georgie's head, and he doesn't look like he's crouching; Danny is at least a head shorter than Georgie. My guess is that Johnny got spooked as he saw a shadowy figure (Georgie) coming out of Aqua's room unannounced, so he was pointing at it rather than at Danny when he made the shot.
