Wootz for the Webley! The last great military revolver! This is one of the better drawn firearms I've ever seen, wonderful!

Though, if we're talking contemporary firearms, I think the Broomhandle Mauser was better, and I have Churchill on my side there. :D lol

I've owned 3 Broomhandles over the years, beautiful guns, shed springs like a prom date. plus the Webley is a harder hitting round and screams "Hello, I'm hear to oppress you!"

Yes, I agree. I'm looking to get a Shansei Mauser, the Chinese model in .45 ACP. I think that's good enough, since a lot of webley's were converted to .45 ACP also.

The thing is that even though you have a .454 Casull, you really don't need something that massive, and having shot full power .44 Magnums out of a 4"; that's a hard time to get the gun back on target from the recoil. As much as I like my 1911's, I have a 1917 S&W with a 4" pipe...so big bore .45 ACP reliability in a readily manageable package.
