I love HEMA, I've been doing it for years. I LOVE the Augsburg tradition for the Messer and I had to get a piece to reflect my love for it. Inspired by Talhoffer's plate on the Direct Displacement with an Arm Wrap, I commissioned one of the other students in my HEMA Club to draw me a portrait of Elian doing just that ~
She did beautifully with this piece, making the artwork look aged with the stain, and even taking artistic liberty to design my sona similarly to the styles of medieval dragons. I really love this a lot.
