Made this one for a coworker, blade is 1095 spring steel, handle is walnut, pins are aluminum. Sheath is bamboo covered in deer leather hardened with bees wax. Sorry about the weird quality on this one, Took more pictures and had trouble getting them all lined up right without entirely removing the background, so I had to improvise the backdrop... which I did poorly, but It's not white at least XD
This is another one I finished and didn't want to part with, and by a large margin the best sheath I have made!
Hope y'all like it!

Material questions are only rude if the maker isn't confident in the materials they used. Aluminum is easy to manipulate with a hammer, which is part of why I chose it. It also won't corrode or leave stains from oxides on hands or other surfaces. This knife is actually only a little blade heavy, the balance point resting towards the front of the finger groove. Pin material wouldn't make enough difference to shift the weight on this one, unless I went with something extremely dense like tungsten. I try to make most of my knives balanced right at the top of the handle, as it gives a good balance of control and cutting ability.
