Forgive my asking if it appears rude. But is there a reason you used aluminum for the pins?
My own bias, i prefer my knives being heavier in the handle (for the most part anyway).

Material questions are only rude if the maker isn't confident in the materials they used. Aluminum is easy to manipulate with a hammer, which is part of why I chose it. It also won't corrode or leave stains from oxides on hands or other surfaces. This knife is actually only a little blade heavy, the balance point resting towards the front of the finger groove. Pin material wouldn't make enough difference to shift the weight on this one, unless I went with something extremely dense like tungsten. I try to make most of my knives balanced right at the top of the handle, as it gives a good balance of control and cutting ability.
