Well, this was unexpected! I certainly didn't expect this, and neither did Cathy! Being male is a big enough change in itself; a life devoted to pondering the existence of the divine is a significant change in lifestyle. But the dealbreaker seems to be the requirement to shave. Everything. As a trophy wife, I can certainly understand how annoying shaving anything at all can be, especially as an anthro, rather than a human. But to shave everywhere? She's kind of cute, to be honest, but I can't really blame her... him for not wanting to keep this one.
Too bad we never got to test whether he can do Kung Fu...
So when the dice rolled monk, I and everyone else who was paying attention really expected the traditional Christian monk. Nope! Surprise! Toaster sure does like to subvert expectations, sometimes.
