Just wondering....Where do you buy fur at? I've been wanting to make a tail for myself, but I can't find good fur anywhere....

I get it from all over the place, this type is called Monterey Mills red fox fur. :)

If you ever are looking for specific fur I would suggest e-mailing ImStuffedFur.com as they carry a LOT of fur that's not even listed on their site, including the Monterey Mills furs... the only down side is, if you're looking for good fur you might have to pay a fairly high price.

Also if you have Joann's or Hancock Fabrics nearby keep an eye out at those places, not always but once in a raaaare while they will get good furs in. Much better to be able to get it somewhere that 1) you don't have to pay shipping and 2) you can use a coupon. ;D

I have a Joanns around my home, and I didnt know that they carried fur sometimes... Stupid me. :D Thanks for the help.

Joann's usually starts getting the good stuff in August-September, just before Halloween, but it never hurts to check. :) Usually it's the low quality felt-like furs that they carry, but they DO get good stuff so don't rule it out!

I checked my local Joanns, and they had some good fur-like fur. Its really plushy snow leopard print. Thanks for all the help~
