'This ship better have some good loot if I'm fighting ghosts for it.'

While heading towards a Halloween party, Astrid spotted a mysterious looking pirate ship not too far away, but on the ship was also a mermaid trapped in a net onboard as well.

Seeing a opportunity, Astrid decided to board the ship to try to plunder whatever loot the ship could have and rescue the mermaid while she was there, though she soon found that it wasn't just any ship, as she was surrounded by ghost pirates omitting a green glow. As Astrid held her knife at the ready she knew she was in for a rough fight, though she wasn't planning to leave without a prize and freeing our mermaid, Emily, who is no doubt rooting her on to give it her all!

'Let me know if you win. I'll assume you're losing otherwise.'

Here we have one of the first giveaway prize winners drawn by  Usagiforehead. This one being for https://www.deviantart.com/thecaptainpulse who wanted to see his Astrid fight some ghost pirates trying to free a captured and very bored Emily.
I think this turned out looking very nice. Astrid is dressed as Crysta from Ferngully and she's really rocking the torn outfit look, and it's even a bit more orange to match her more. The blue highlights stick out nicely while the determined expression really shows just how ready for a fight she is, as does the great pose she has with her knife at the ready. Emily looks fun and bored as usual, which is particularly funny here considering her situation, yet she still just scrolling through her phone stuck in the net. The costume is also pretty funny with her, given that she very lazily just put on a pirate hat, yet it suits her quite nicely. The background is a very nice pirate ship at night which does look nice. Admirably the ghost pirates are a bit copy and pasted, but I think they get the idea across well. Overal it's a really fun pic that I hope you all enjoy!
