# Jigsaw - Saw

With one last sub-category to go, we're brought to the miscellaneous tier. The last five for which I really don't know how to categorize appropriately. Well, I'm sure I could, but for the sake of this, will just put 'em in Misc. First out of the gate, we have the perpetrator of the infamous Saw movies, Jigsaw/John Kramer/Billy. (Because let's face it, the doll's the actually iconic face of the series!)

Now while these films quickly turned into a quagmire of torture porn, I will always view the first movie as an absolute masterpiece in film making. I know this is far from a hot take, but it really just has to be acknowledged and I for one feel it deserves a solid shout out in one of my countdowns. Of course with the films aforementioned slow decline I can't give ole' Jigsaw any higher rating that dead last here, but I still want to commemorate the place that the first film holds in the dark, twisted hearts of horror fans.
