Brimseal is a peculiar Pokemon with a rare Fire/Water dual-typing. Although capable of living in water and on land just as easily, it prefers the latter and naturally has an affinity for hot places. Brimseal is usually seen carrying around a large ball of lava rock, doing tricks with it to amuse itself and others and keeping it aflame with puffs of fire from its nose. It also uses this ball as its primary means of attack, opting to keep itself far from danger and use ranged moves as much as possible. Brimseal loves human attention and will go out of its way to encounter people, making it a relatively easy catch for trainers.
