It's a rabbit thing.
It's a polypore of some kind. See if you can find a list of polypore fungi in your area. The big thing is that it has a stalk, which is unusual for those kinds of mushrooms. Most grow right up to the wood, so I'd be willing to bet there's only a handful of species it could be.
