Sooooooooooo... I might have underestimated my hyperfixation.
For context, in my last IF comic, I had a conversation with Commodore_Trek (which, by the way, thank you so much for feeding my non-creative brain with ideas! 👉👉) that ultimately resulted in me drawing this; A mildly suggestive Ace the Charmeleon. I'll admit that, upon writing the message argeeing upon this, I was expecting to take a long while doing this. And despite that, here I am! Posting this the exact same day I wrote the last message lol-
By the way, this is not going to delay my scheduled comic from this weekend. I could use this as an excuse, yeah. But why would I? I have finished the comic already and was planning on uploading it this weekend anyway. So, yeah. Maybe it'll be tomorrow, maybe Sunday.

Given what she's taking the effort to do with her tail flame, I get the distinct impression that she's into it, much as she may be performatively trying to be tsundere about it. : 3
Now we just need to know who convinced her to pose and why. Although we can probably guess. : P
Absolutely terrific work, mate. You take the memes and the dreams and make them real. Similar to the Jaunty Nuzlocke (highly recommend, by the way), I enjoy your more comical nuzlocke storytelling style immensely. And hey, if you like to be fed with ideas, I absolutely have others if you'd like to hear them.

I wake up > I read this > My heart melts and I have an awesome day thanks to it
Seriously, thank you so much! Your kind words mean so much to me! And as stated, my creative reach is... not the best, so I'd love to hear more creative ideas for possible drawings! I hope to be able to keep providing memes and drawings lol
(Also, Ace might not seem like it, but she secretly loves to be in the spotlight)

Heheheh. Called it.
As for ideas, one that immediately comes to mind given that you're lacking confidence drawing humans is the concept I've had knocking around in my noggin for a while now for a Zootopia-esque Pokemon Mystery Dungeon setting taking place in a big city with a late atomic age/early information age level of technology (think somewhere around late 80s to early noughties - so after computers, but before the rise of social media - though I wouldn't want to over-emphasize analogue nostalgia). Rather than taking human cultural preconceptions and crudely slapping Pokemon over the top of them like the absolutely dreadful Corrosion comic does (though I did like its idea that psychic and dark types would dominate politics - I'm gonna steal that part), I want to dig deep and really think about every aspect of how the nature of Pokemon (inherently very different from humans) would influence the development of a Pokemon society as it progresses technologically.
For instance, a lot of technological development would, I feel, have been hampered by the, "But we already have a Pokemon for that" factor. Who needs sewers when Pokemon like Muk and Garbodor already keep the streets clean and clear of waste? This would, I feel, make the industrial revolution a lot more of a slow, kicking-and-screaming drag, as every new type of machine is a job some Pokemon (usually a fire type) just lost. Not unlike the IRL version, you might argue, but in this instance you can even get away with not using machines to source the heat. And indeed I imagine a lot of early industrial processes to be powered not by a steam boiler, but by a living, breathing engine instead. The working conditions this would lead to are exactly what you would imagine, eventually leading to a culture of very strike-happy blue collar fire types. In turn, many water types are employed by law enforcement and private security for whenever the unions need a-bustin' (not ground and rock types, mind you - that could damage the machines!).
Thus, right up until this setting's modern day, you see fire types over-represented in blue collar jobs like mining and manufacturing, and water types over-represented in law enforcement. The animosity from that industrial era has (mostly) faded, but its legacy lives on demographically. The picture, then? Something simple and slice-of-lifey, I think - a police Blastoise taking a casual stroll with a Charizard in a hi-vis, with an indistinct city-street background (since I don't have a fully-developed picture of their architecture just yet) or whichever two 'mons of those types strikes your fancy, really. The clothing would be fairly minimalist like in Friendship is Magic, I think - just enough in the case of one's job to identify the 'mon with their work and provide whatever practical benefits may be required, and that's it. A lot of Pokemon wouldn't even wear clothes at all most of the time and view them more as a luxury item, again like in FiM.

Holy crap, that is GENIUS!! Not only is the concept absolutely AMAZING, but you've also given me an excuse to play Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, re-watch Zootopia, AND study about life during the 80's! This is an amazing idea and I'd love to set it in practice!...
BUUUUUUUUUUUT
I feel like you have a vastly more elaborate concept about this in your head already, and I'd hate to "steal" such an idea from you, so... would you be up to teaming up and developing this further? You seem to have a very solid concept in your mind already about how the theming would work and, rather than taking full credit on it, I'd love to help you bring it to life (mostly when it comes to illustrating it, but I can pitch some ideas too lol).

You can also thank The Slugma-Powered Home for having provided further inspiration to this effect.
Anyways, I thank you for your kind words as well - it's deeply reassuring as I always tend to be a little skeptical of my own ideas. A writer and illustrator sort of relationship definitely makes the most sense in this sort of situation I agree. Hashing out something like this over FA comments is a little clunky, though, so would you like me to PM you my Discord details?
