Far across the sea rests a land ravaged by mortal hubris. A vast desert that we'd have once called paradise. Lush greens replaced with cruel dull whites, gentle winds turned into merciless sandstorms, and a brilliant sun now turned hostile. Even the Moon is angry here, and under her gaze you will freeze to your very bones. The land is cursed, mile after mile of reminder not to meddle in what we do not understand. Mortals called upon calamity there, invoked an act so against nature that the land itself ensured almost nothing could survive there ever again.
It does not stop us from exploring the ruins of old there. But the demons, those twisted mortals who yet remain in the wasteland? Beware them. They are far more unpredictable and cunning then the blunt force of Nature.

I love this design.
Khomche drew some dino inspired characters and this one was a perfect fit for my writing, so I had to get her. I love the sheen she added, the way they seem to glow along their spots, or how their markings seem to fade in and out give me a plethora of ideas on how to construct other life in the deserts dear Xura calls home.
As for Xura herself, she just looks so cool! The markings on her face, the spines, the long tail, the colors... The design feels so simple yet unique and interesting. I absolutely adore the work and effort Khomche puts out into their work.

Khomche's gallery. She does amazing work and needs all the love for the effort she puts in.
